Corina Miller, LICSW
Counselor
Corina Miller has 25 years of experience in the treatment of addictions. She began her career in 1986 at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD where she worked at TRISARD (Tri-Services Addiction Recovery Department.) She provided a full range of services including assessments, recommendations for treatment, individual and group counseling, addictions and family treatment. Corina has been working at PCLS (Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service) at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. since June, 2001. Here she has earned yearly Performance Awards for her work with our wounded servicemen and women and their families as well as her work in the area of addictions.
Corina began working at EADP in July 2000 as a group counselor and thought she would be here for a year or two. The work has proved challenging and is quite interesting, so much so, that she has now been here for over 11 years.
Corina Miller is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she graduated Summa Cum Laude; and The Catholic University of America where she earned her Masters of Social Work. She is an advisor for Sesame Workshop and has co-authored several articles, the latest of which is a chapter in Textbooks of Military Medicine: Combat and Operational behavioral Health, a textbook which is being used at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS), the military medical school in Bethesda, MD.
Corina is a licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds advanced certification in Addictions Counseling. She is a member in good standing with the National Association of Social Workers.
